Many pensioners today face challenges in finding accommodation that suits their lifestyle needs. Many reside in homes that are too large, while downsizing to a smaller apartment is often more costly. Furthermore, waiting lists for service homes—where smaller apartments are available within a housing complex—are long.


Even more active 55+ can find themselves in a similar situation: having the same square meters for one or two people when the children have long since moved is a waste of resources. At the same time, there is a housing shortage for families and younger people.

Create a digital service to find and manage rentals, enabling homeowners to rent out their properties while retaining ownership. Kollektiva will pay a fixed quarterly amount and handle rental management. The service will also facilitate subletting for those who wish to stay in their homes while sharing the space, and offer personal support for creating multi-family housing within existing homes by acting as a 'matchmaker' for accommodations.
